So Alex already had some cool info on our Republican VP candidate that I think is very worthy of checking out. Here are some notes on what I can find:
- Life time NRA Member
- Governor of Alaska since 2006
- Wasilla City Council 1992-1996, Elected Mayor in 1996
- Head of the school Fellowship of Christian Athletes, lead prayer before games
- Oldest son is 18 and in the Army. Infantry non the less.
- Graduated from University of Idaho with a Journalism degree
- Promotes Independence from oil companies (Husband works for BP)
- Opposes abortion and supports capital punishment
- Promotes teaching creationism alongside evolution in schools
- Opposes same sex marriage; however, is receptive to the gay and lesbian community
Sounds like the previous governor of Alaska was a real crook and she had a lot of cleanup to do. Sounds like she’s done a good job too. Anyway, what is your opinion? I’d love to hear it!
