Oh, and thanks for the theme. I love it!

Link Love

As you guys noticed, I’m finally up on my domain and got all my e-mail issues resolved. Now I need to go back thru and add all my widgets including my blogroll, resources, friends websites, etc. So since AlexLos, and probably someone else posted something about link love, here is mine.

So if you read our blog, and want to have some link love, leave a comment, or fill out this auto linky thing. Or do both! Haven’t quite figured it out myself just yet!

A New Blog Shoutout!

We have to update the blogroll’s and take a look over on Jon Harrelson’s blog. [Read more →]

Great Friends of Mine

Well today was finally a day for me to catch up on all of my honey do’s. Okay, not catch up but get a good start. Most of these today were self imposed though. I’ve been needing to change the fuel filters on my truck for some time. I run biodiesel which burns clean and cleans all the junk out of my tank as well. I would stomp on the accelerator of my freshly upgraded Intake, Exhaust, and Chip’d Ford and I just couldn’t accelerate. So I knew it was time for fuel filters. Well, Ford in their infinite wisdom has two fuel filters of which one is located on the frame, and one on top of the engine. The one on top of the engine is a piece of cake to get to. The frame, not so much.

So, I’ve been able to change out the filter on top, but not the frame. So I call Eric and ask him if I could borrow a tool or two since he was one that did the upgrades on my truck. He said sure and bring it by. I did, and not only did he let me borrow his tools, he had his guys do it for me! In addition I have a SnugTop camper shell that hasn’t been working quite right and since he’s a dealer, he had people working on that in a heart beat. I walk into his office walk back, shell’s off on it’s way to Snugtop for repair, fuel filters changed, and people are asking me what I want for lunch.

I take my now “naked” truck out for a test drive and acceleration is all there. No leaks, come back food is ready and I sit down and hang out for a little longer. Somehow I start talking about my sprinklers and how I needed a pressure regulator for the drip system that I can’t find the right size for at Home Depot. Eric says, “Hold on.” A few finger strokes on the phone, “Hey, this is Eric at Xtreme Truck Outfitters, I got a buddy…” With in a minute I had directions to John Deer Landscaping and within minutes of arriving I had parts in hand.

If you need ANYTHING, Eric and Tammy are the people to go to. Now I don’t know if I would impose or expect them to do engine work other then upgrades but if you need something for your truck, go see Eric and Tammy. They are just genuine people with hearts of gold. THANK YOU ERIC! See ya in a couple days Bro!
