Another Day another tooth

Yup another tooth is breaking through. Garrett is working on his third tooth. It is one of his top teeth. Savannah is still toothless and I can’t see anything coming in. Ryan didn’t get his first tooth till he was about 11.5 months old either so Savannah is just taking after Ryan while Garrett wanted to be leading the pack on that one. The kids are all doing great otherwise.

I did weigh them the other day on our wii and Ryan is weighing in at 30# Garrett just under 20# and Savannah just under 16#. Which is really weird because that is what the twins were at their  9 month check up. I am hoping that they have grown a little since then. Savannah is such a little thing though I am afraid they are going to tell me to try and fatten her up. I think she is going to take after her cousins Grayce and Katelyn (who are twins). They are both small petite things and were always small for their age. I am not sure now but I am sure they are catching up.

Oh other news Garrett is able to stand by himself for a very small amount of time. I will stand him up and let go and if he doesn’t realize I let go he will just stand there once he realizes he is doing it he sits down. I am in trouble once he realizes ho to walk. Savannah does use our stools as a walker which is too cute. She will just sit and walk around the kitchen and then when she gets stuck she lets you know. Her and Ryan are very alike in that department. Well anyway I am sure many things will happen this week that I can write about. I know that in about a week and a half Ryan goes to the dentist for the first time. It should be fun since he likes to brush his teeth on his own with no help. I even tried flossing and he wanted to do it.

Good night for now.

I am starting anew

Well I have not been using this and I need to the whole point of us having this is to keep in touch with all of you that are not here with us. Things have been great. The twins are growing and Ryan is growing. Savannah and Garrett are both crawling and have been since Christmas. Garrett is the climber while Savannah is a little more careful. Their personalities are coming out more as they get older and it is so cool to see who they are becoming. Ryan is doing great, he is still in swim lessons and he is loving it. He is talking up a storm and says new phrases all the time. Chris is still working on his Bachalors and I am still home with the kids.

We are currently planning for the twins 1st birthday which is the end of next month already. I go through all my pregnancy pictures as well as their newborn pictures and looking at them now you would never know they were preemie. They are getting so big I love it. Well it is late and I am tired. We have swim lessons tomorrow and I need my sleep. I promise I will try and get this kept up with more often.

ITs been a while…

The twins are now 8 months old and Ryan will be 2.5 on the 7th. Time has been flying by and it has been super busy this year. The twins started solid food on October 31st and had their first veggie (green beans) on Thanksgiving. Garrett loved it Savannah didn’t at all. I was able to hide the veggies in her cereal and she ate it. They both are up on their hands and knees and rocking. It is a race to see who will be first to crawl. I thought they were going to crawl by Thanksgiving but I was wrong. They are moving a lot though. Either rolling or scooting backwards. It is very cute. Sitting up like big kids and they love Ryan. He is playing with them as long as they don’t try and take his toys. They are starting to and that bugs him. Oh well he will learn. :)

Halloween went really well Ryan was spider man, Savannah was a unicorn, and Garrett was a puppy. They were all super cute. Ryan really enjoyed trick or treating. He is still talking about trick or treating. He also enjoyed going to the pumpkin patch or as he called it the ‘pumpkin store’. Every time we drove by it he would yell pumpkin store. It is in the process of turning into a tree store so now he sees a tree and says Christmas time. I love it.

Chris and I have been very productive in our house. We have the whole down stairs painted and we are in the process of getting our tv nook built in. That only took 3.5 years. Pictures will be added on the right as well as other pictures just click in there and take a look.

I can not wait till Christmas as Ryan is so excited for all the Christmas stuff in the store. The lights in the neighborhood lights will be fun to show him as well.

Until next time,

Stephanie

Its been a while!

A lot has been going on in the Stout household. It has been very busy with 3 children in the house but I would not change anything though even all those crazy days when the kids are all grumpy it is those little smiles that I just love or the hugs and kisses from Ryan. We are currently in Lake Tahoe visiting Chris’ parents and also went to his 10 year high school reunion.

Everyone is getting so big. Ryan is just talking away. As of 2 weeks ago Ryan was really only saying one word at a time and now he is starting to say 2 word sentances. It is so fun to hear him talk to me and tell me about things he sees or wants or even when he is hurting. When we were driving to Tahoe on Friday his little behind was starting to hurt as we had been sitting for a long while and he just kept telling Chris and I “kaa boo-boo” So we knew to stop and help him. I figured he had to go potty and that he was having some trouble but it was just his butt that was sore from sitting so long. He is also just about ready to get potty trained. We have sort of been starting it but have not been pushing it since we are going to be on vaction next month and I don’t want to worry about accidents. When we had stopped to help his sore but we went to the bathroom and he did go potty (#1) and he had a dry diaper. He is also taking off his pants so I know he is just about ready for the big boy underwear. It is crazy to think my baby is just about ready to be potty trained. :) October 1st is the magical day that we are going to start really trying. That is when the big boy underwear gets pulled out. He has been enjoying his swingset he got for his birthday and his bike. He is also loving his big boy bed which he has been in for a few months now.

Savannah and Garrett are also getting big at their 4 month check up Savannah was 11#14 oz and Garrett was 12#14oz. They are keeping the 1 lb difference between them. They are growing up so much lately. Garrett loves to be on his side trying to get ot his belly. We put him on the ground and almost right away he is on his side. Savannah is also learning to roll like her big brother. Savannah loves to pull on the toys that are hanging on her chairs or floor toys while Garrett just looks at them. It is amazing how different yet the same they are. They are still on the same eating pattern and eat every 3 hours. If I don’t feed them at that point wow do they let me know.  I have been working on getting them on the same sleep schedule as Ryan and it is going pretty well. They usually go down for a big nap about 12-1 and sleep for a few hours and then they go down about 830-9. They are growing up fast. I guess it seems faster since they are the babies and we are not having more.

Twins

I have not had a password to this since it messed up so now that it is fixed I a here to tell you all what has been going on here in the house with the twins. They are doing great they are now 11.5 weeks. Time sure does fly.  We went to their 2 month appointment on May 26th and man they are getting big. Savannah was 7 lbs 11 oz 20 1/4 in  and Garrett was 8 lbs 10 oz 21 in.

Since their appointment they just seemed to be getting bigger and bigger. They are still small compared to other babies their age but they are now in new born clothes. I finally put away the preemie clothes, it was a little bittersweet since it means they are growing up but yay they are getting bigger. As far as their personalities they are different. Garrett seems to be the watcher. He doesn’t like to just stare at people but he looks aroud like he is already trying to figure out how to climb and get into tings like his big brother. He has started to coo and it is so cute. Savannah is the opposite she loves to smile at people and could just stare at you for a long time.  Garrett loves to cuddle with people ok so they both do :) .

They have been sleeping pretty well and giving me a chance to catch up on my sleep. They go to bed around 10ish and usually start waking up about 545-6ish and the pacifiers come in handy til about 7 and then we get up and they eat and we start the day.

Here are some more pictures I hope you enjoy:
